the photo would be perfect if the focus was on eyes and not on nose

I did it too, I was so frustrated when I discovered the wrong focus... and it was too late...

Thanks. I'm glad I'm not the only one to do this. Auto focus can be counter productive. Since then I have chosen one AF focus point, and aim it straight at the eyes. :)
